ORIGINAL GLASS PLATE NEGATIVE FROM ROBERT E. LEE'S FUNERAL
The glass funeral slide, created from an image taken at Robert E. Lee's funeral, is 4" x 5" and on the original glass negative. The image shows a military band on parade, surrounding the hearse. A black stain appears on the left edge, but does not affect the image. We suspect this could be an unpublished image. Very rare. This historical artifact is on display at the University of South Carolina.
